Italian Bar Road Open For Long Weekend

Sonora, CA -- Italian Bar Road from the Columbia end is currently open to the public for use over the Memorial Day Weekend.

The Tuolumne County Department of Public Works says completion of work will take place off and on in the next two weeks.

Officials say the road surface is dirt and drivers should be aware that if the road gets wet, it will be extremely slippery.

Caution is strongly recommended under the current conditions.
