CHP Enforcing Click It Or Ticket Campaign

Sonora, CA -- The Highway Patrol is reminding Memorial Day weekend drivers to fasten their safety belts and secure all safety seats on every trip to avoid risking danger to themselves or their children.

With the CHP's “Click It Or Ticket” effort underway, drivers also risk a citation if they don't make sure everyone in their vehicle is buckled up.

The CHP also advises motorists to designate a driver if they intend to drink over the long weekend.
