Sierra Snowpack Well Above NormalFriday, April 28, 2006 - 03:50 AM
Sacramento, CA -- Sierra Nevada snow levels are far above normal as the temperatures begin to warm around the state.
But officials predict that reservoirs will be able to handle the extra water. The state Department of Water Resources says its last check of the 2005-2006 rainy season found a Sierra snowpack that averaged 180 percent of normal water content for this time of year.
