Kite Fair At Toyon Saturday

San Andreas, CA -- Weather permitting, the 3rd Annual Kites Over Calaveras sponsored by the San Andreas Merchants Association will take place Saturday.

Kite flying Champions Brian Champie, Dan Whitney and Dennis Churchill will wow the crowds with their one of kind kites and flying skills.

Visitors can participate in their own flying contests. They can also enjoy booths, food and more.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Toyon Middle School on Highway 12. Admission is free.

As of Thursday, organizers said the event is still on.
