Sonora, CA -- If you are a country girl between the ages of 17 and 25 you may be eligible to compete for the Dairy Princess crown.
The local dairy industry is now accepting applications from young women who are unmarried and part of a family that has a dairy farm, work for the dairy industry or have a dairy-related background. The winner will represent the dairy industry as a spokeswoman and will speak up for the California Dairy Industry when asked to appear at schools, fairs, industry meetings, service clubs, parades, and on radio and television.
The Dairy Princess will represent Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Merced and many other counties. Applications are available by contacting Linda Teixeira at 209-634-4500
