All CHP Officers To Be Interviewed In Wake Of ShootingMonday, February 27, 2006 - 03:20 PM
Sacramento, CA -- Every California Highway Patrol officer in the state will be interviewed over the next 24 to 48 hours in the wake of a shooting that left one of their fellow officers dead.
CHP Commissioner Mike Brown said in Sacramento today that commanders in 108 field offices throughout the state will take several hours to interview all of the officers. They'll talk to the officers about their feelings in the wake of the shooting death of Earl Scott.
Officer Scott was gunned down during a routine traffic stop on February 17th near Modesto.
Brown says the officers will also have an opportunity to talk about any policy or training issues they feel need to be addressed.
