Sale Ceremony For Yosemite Postage Stamp Today

Yosemite National Park, CA -- Postmasters from Columbia, Groveland, and Sonora will be in Yosemite National Park today for the unveiling ceremony of the Yosemite stamp.

Park officials say the photograph of "The Gates of the Valley" will be featured on the 84-cent stamp, which is the international letter rate.

The historic event marks the third time the park has been honored on a United States postage stamp. The stamp is now available for purchase at post offices nationwide.
