Sonora, CA -- Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties are currently under a flood watch until noon today.
The National Weather Service has upgraded the warning to a small river and stream flood warning for lakes. Numerous creeks and streams are already flowing out of their banks. The CHP is also reporting several flooded roadways.
Avoid driving a vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow the vehicle to cross safely.
