Snow, Rain And Fog Make Winter Driving Deadly

Sonora, CA -- Winter weather, with its snow, rain and fog presents motorists with tricky driving challenges.

AAA of Northern California reminds drivers to refresh their winter driving skills in order to safely navigate the wet and slippery streets.

AAA advises motorists to adjust their speed for the weather, increase their following distance, recognize hydroplaning hazards, and know how to drive in the fog.

Safe winter driving also requires maintaining your vehicle and AAA suggests checking tires, keeping a full gas tank, carrying an emergency kit, and keeping the windshield and windows clear.
