Three Die In Jackson House Fire

Jackson, CA -- Amador County Fire Officials say three people were killed in a house fire early Friday.

Authorities say the blaze occurred in the town of Pine Grove about eight miles east of Jackson.

Neighbors report hearing cries for help just before the fire was visible. Officials say the blaze was brought under control within an hour, although it took several hours to extinguish and mop up.

The identities of the victims have not been released. Authorities say the fire doesn't look suspicious, although the cause is under investigation .
