Redlands Man Dies After Being Struck By Car

Modesto, CA -- A 76-year-old Redlands man has died from injuries he suffered from being struck by a car in Angels Camp last week.

Authorities say Donald Christian was crossing Highway 49 near the Angels Creek Bridge shortly after 8:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say 56-year-old Patrice Parsons was southbound on the highway rounding a curve when her vehicle struck Christian.

Christian was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto where he died Wednesday afternoon from his injuries.

Investigation into the accident continues.
