Sonora, CA -- A Columbia home is completely destroyed following a structure fire early yesterday.
Karry Hubbard of CDF says crews arrived at the house on North Airport Road at about 4:30 in the morning to find the structure completely involved. The home's occupants were reportedly able to successfully evacuate the home without injury.
A total of eight engines were dispatched along with three water tenders. Investigators say the blaze was caused by candles.
The home and its contents were a total loss with damage estimated at about $110,000.
