Sheriff's Deputies Make Arrests Leading To Counterfeit MoneyFriday, October 28, 2005 - 04:15 PM

Arnold, CA -- Two Riverbank residents are facing burglary and forgery charges in Arnold stemming from a parole violation Thursday.
The Calaveras County Sheriffs Department responded to Highway 4 in Arnold looking for a person who had just passed a fraudulent $100 bill at a business. When deputies located a car matching the description of the one seen leaving the business, they conducted a traffic stop. Deputies arrested 39-year-old Jeffrey McKinsey and 40-year-old Lee Moulton of Stanislaus County. An underage runaway girl was also found in the car and placed into the custody of CPS. While searching the car Deputies recovered additional counterfeit money.
