Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department says a 74-year-old woman is unharmed after an invasion robbery at her Jamestown home yesterday.
The Sheriff's Department says three men in their 20s used the barrel of a handgun to break the window of the house's front door to gain entry at about 3:00 in the afternoon. Investigators say the three demanded the woman's purse and car keys. After the woman said she didn't have a purse or a car, the three proceeded to ransack the house. They then fled the scene on foot.
Authorities say one of the three was wearing a desert tan camouflage jacket and pants. The other two were wearing dark sweaters with dark jeans. All three were wearing beanie hats pulled over their faces with eye-holes cut out.
Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department Investigations Unit at 694-2900, or TCS Dispatch at 533-5815.
