Money May Be Waiting For You In The California Vault

Sacramento, CA -- Mother Lode residents may have money or other valuables coming to them.

State Controller Steve Westly is asking California residents to search the unclaimed property vault. Westly says there are millions of dollars worth of checks, diamonds, coins, and much more of people's prized possessions.

Every year the controllers office puts out a list of owners who have uncollected assets to pick up. Westly says this year it is even easier because people can search a web link for their lost and found.
