Flu Vaccine Available October 3rd

San Andreas, CA -- Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital along with Family Medical Centers will supply the Flu Vaccine starting Monday, October 3rd.

Officials say each year more than 114,000 people in the U.S. are hospitalized and close to 36,000 people die because of the flu.

An $11.00 donation will cover the cost of the vaccine and will enable the hospital to continue the service in future years. Family Medical Centers are located in Arnold, Angels Camp, Valley Springs and Copperopolis.

Organizers say the Flue Shots will also be available at the Harvest Health and Fitness Festival at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital on October 8th.
