Eight Acre Fire in Columbia Contained

An 8 acre fire off of Parrots Ferry Rd in Columbia is now contained.

CDF responded quickly to contain flames that were 15ft high at one point this afternoon. Fire retardent chemical was used to protect structures and secure the containment of the fire.
