Water Main Break Prompts School Closure

Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne Utilities District reports a wide spread water outage in the upper Phoenix Lake area.

That has prompted officials at Bellview School to cancel classes for the day. Back to school night activities have also been cancelled.

TUD says a water main is broken and residents can expect to be without water for at least eight hours.

TUD says reports have come in from Meadow Lane, Twain Harte and Longeway Road.
