Work On Sonora High's Dunlavy Field Progresses On Schedule

Sonora, CA -- Progress on Sonora High School's Dunlavy Field continues at a steady pace.

Principal Terry Clark says everything is on schedule and the installation of the turf is expected to begin a week from Monday.

Clark says crews are putting the finishing touches on the field's drainage system and pouring the concrete runways and pits for the pole-vault and high-jump.

The final application of drain rock will begin Tuesday. He says the field should be ready for the turf layer by next Friday.

The project is expected to be completed sometime in July.
