Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will take up a handful of traffic issues at this week's regular meeting.
Among the items up for consideration are the approval of an ordinance which will place a stop light at the intersection of Jamestown and Racetrack Roads. The board will also look at proposed speed limits of 35 and 45 miles per hour on Tuolumne Road North.
In other business, the panel will discuss proposed correspondence to the State of California and County Legislative representatives to inform them of the possible cancellation of the Amador contract in the face of a $700,000 budget shortfall to County Fire Services.
The meeting gets underway Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the board chambers on South Green Street in Sonora.
