Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors viewed a power point presentation at their latest Board meeting, presented by the County Air Pollution Contol Board.
Control Officer Gary Caseri outlined the rules and regulations for maintaining the Air Quality as well as the fees collected to ensure it. A concern of the public has been the recent implementation of the DMV Motor Vehicle Registration Fee, and the presentation was designed to educate the public as well as the board why the money is necessary or beneficial in addressing the air pollution issues in this area.
The Board of Supervisors are awaiting more information from the County Air Pollution Control District regarding the funds needed in the Budget, which will be discussed on June 21st.
