Undated -- Weather Forecasters are once again warning area residents of very high water levels in lakes and streams due to excessive runoff from the mountains.
Officials say unseasonably warm temperatures melting the above average snowpack will cause lakes and streams to stage well above normal over the holiday weekend. Those living near water sources are being warned that lowland flooding could occur as river flows will be strong, swift, cold and dangerous.
Officials say common sense and caution should be exercised around water, and parents should keep a close watch on their children.
