Not Guilty Plea Comes From Murphy's Man

Calaveras County, CA -- A jury trial is set for October 13th to try a Murphy's man who has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

Steven Snowden was involved in the June 22nd motorcycle crash that resulted in the death of Sonora musician Ken Darby.

According to California Highway Patrol, Darby was riding a 1987 Honda Motorcycle north on French Gulch Road, while Snowden was headed south in a 2000 Dodge truck.

CHP says the men collided after coming around a blind curve.
