Auburn Puts Bite On Dog Owners

A dog's bark in Auburn could soon take a bite out of its owner's wallet.

The City Council approved a $125 fine Monday for animal noise violations. The council also approved a $50 fine for owners of unleashed animals and those who don't clean up their pet's waste. The city says the fees only cover a fraction of enforcement costs.
