Valley Springs Arrests

A Valley Springs resident and a Burson man are behind bars after being arrested during a probation search of a Daphne Street residence in Valley Springs.

Calaveras County Sheriff Dennis Downum reports that several people fled the home when deputies arrived at the scene. Investigators allegedly located narcotics, stolen property and illegal weapons stashed inside of the residence. Burson resident David Sayle and Valley Springs resident Michael Clark were booked into Calaveras County jail.

Clark faces a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges. Sayle was taken into custody on an outstanding violation of probation warrant.
