Friday's Fifth Wreck in the Mother Lode

Traffic collisions kept emergency workers and paramedics busy this Friday.

The location of the fifth wreck was at Poole Station Road a mile north of Highway 4, and it was the fifth accident in the Mother Lode since Friday began.

There are reported injuries, and at least one vehicle. is apparently off the road.

Two separate overturned vehicles near Soulsbyville and Long Barn this morning were followed by an injury wreck in Tuolumne County requiring an air ambulance at Tuolumne and Standard Roads... and then another injury accident in Calaveras County at Highway 12 and Central Hill Road also needed a helicopter.

Both those helicopters took their patients to Modesto hospitals.
