Fire fighters have contained a house fire in Jamestown.
CDF-Tuolumne Fire Marshall Kari Hubbard says that the fire totally razed the home off of Jacksonville Road, near Bell Mooney Road, on Jenny Court.
Four engines and two water tenders were dispatched when the fire was first reported at 4:45 this morning.
Smoke may be visible throughout the Jamestown area this morning. Residents that observe smoke in the area do not need to contact the fire department. There were no injuries and the home was not occupied when the inferno erupted. Hubbard says damage is estimated at $400-thousand.
