Driver Injured In Crash

Tuolumne County emergency units responded to a single car traffic accident on Highway 120 and Stent Jacksonville Road near Moccasin Point. The crash was reported just before 2:30 Friday afternoon.

The car went over the embankment and down about 20 feet. The driver was pinned inside the vehicle. Additional fire units with the Jaws of Life were called to free the injured driver.

CHP closed the highway to allow a medical helicopter to land at the scene. No word on the extent of injuries.
