Truck Destroyed In FireThursday, August 26, 2004 - 10:30 AM
Firefighters quickly contained a fire that fully engulfed a utility truck -- in the eastbound lane--on the new Priest Grade (Highway 120) The blaze put up a large column of smoke seen in the area between Moccasin and Big Oak Flat.
Fire was contained at 9:37 a.m. The road was reopened to traffic around 10:15 this morning. There was no spread to the wildland grass and brush in the area.
