Modesto Teen Shot, Killed

A Modesto teenager was shot and killed last night in a southeast Modesto neighborhood.

Witnesses told police they heard gunshot around 10 last night in the area of Poppypatch Drive. When officers arrived, they found an Asian boy on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released due to his age.

Investigators are unsure at this time if the shooting is gang related.
