DUI Check Points This Weekend

Mother Lode region law enforcement will be looking for intoxicated or impaired drivers Friday and Saturday.

Friday Modesto Police will have a sobriety check point set up somewhere within the city limits. Police will also be checking driver's licenses as well.

Then Saturday night from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. the CHP along with Angels Camp police will have a DUI check point somewhere in that Calaveras County town.

Officers will have hand-held breath testing devices to check those drivers suspected of driving while under the influence of drugs of alcohol.
