School's Out For Summer... Almost

Believe it or not, summertime is just about here and school is just about over for the season.

Sonora Superintendent of Schools Joe Silva says the year-end festivities start as soon as next Friday.

"Summerville High School is going to be graduating next week. They have their exercises, and that will kick off our first graduation," Silva says.

And after Summerville, there will be Pomp and Circumstance all over the Mother Lode.

"Graduation ceremonies will go about two weeks, beginning next week and then into the following week with both high schools and elementary schools graduating."

The Sober Graduation Party at Summerville High happens Friday, June 4th.
