Attic Fire In Tuolumne

Tuolumne County fire units battled a house fire on the 18,000 block of Madrone Street near Fir Avenue in Tuolumne City.

The fire first reported at 9:52 a.m. this morning.

Fire units on the scene say fire was burning in the attic of the home when they arrived. The blaze was quickly contained by firefighters. No word on what caused the fire.
