Conrad Trial Delayed

A trial continuance was granted yesterday for actor Robert Conrad of the classic Wild Wild West TV series.

He had been scheduled to appear in Calaveras County Superior Court on May 13th for two felony drunk driving charges.

In March of last year, Conrad crashed his 1995 Jaguar into a car driven by 26-year-old Kevin Burnett, and officials say Conrad's blood-alcohol level was point-two-two.

Conrad asked for the delay so that he could change to a new attorney. The judge in the case said a new trial date would be set next Tuesday morning.
