Home and Garden Show Held at Motherlode FairgroundsMonday, March 29, 2004 - 04:10 AM
The Home and Garden Show kicked off Saturday morning at the Motherlode Fairgrounds.
Food, home and garden exhibits, and prize drawings were on hand for Motherlode residents, and a playground and face-painting were available for children.
More than 130 groups and exhibitors were available, performing demonstrations and handing out brochures.
Admission and parking were free, although officials say parking at the fairgrounds was extremely limited, so free shuttle buses ran from the Junction shopping center.
