Motherlode Gets Lion's Share Of Thursday's RainSaturday, March 27, 2004 - 04:50 AM
Precipitation totals for Thursday's storm are in, and the Motherlode seemed to get the lion's share of the moisture.
Groveland was on top of the list with an inch-and-a-quarter. Sonora got 1.17 inches of rain.
By comparison, Modesto saw just under a quarter inch of moisture and Stockton got slightly more than a tenth of an inch.
In the snow department, Bear Valley reported as much as twelve inches of snow, while Kirkwood had seven to ten inches.
Don't look for much more precip this weekend however. KVML's Meteorologist Alan Archer says sunny skies are in the forecast, with highs in the 70s.
