Blown Transformer Causes Downtown Sonora Outage

P G & E crews worked to repair a blown transformer near Restano Way and South Washington Street Saturday morning.

Reports say the transformer blew prior to 6am.

Sonora Police said they'd received no calls on the outage.

There's no word yet on how many customers were without power, or when the transformer would be fixed.
