Power Outages Affect Motherlode During and After Storm

The weather is affecting electricity all across the Motherlode.

Pacific Gas and Electric reports outages all across Tuolumne and Calaveras County.

CALAVERAS COUNTY POWER FAILURES (as of 3:45pm Wednesday)

Copperopolis - 2100 customers

Valley Springs - 1400 customers

Murphys - 600 customers

Spokeswoman Emily Barnett says it's hard to predict when service will be restored to PG&E customers, and the inclement weather makes it even more difficult. Repair crews have been working on the situation since last night, and they hope most customers will again have electricity by Wednesday evening.
