Budget Problems Bug County SupervisorsTuesday, February 24, 2004 - 01:35 AM
The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will be talking money this morning... during their mid-year budget session. They'll be considering revenue adjustments and expense adjustments to the year's budget plan. Also, the county Auditor-Controller will present facts and figures regarding cash flow.
In a memo about today's hearing, administrator C. Brent Wallace says, because of a miscalculation of the Vehicle License shortfall, even more money that was expected now won't be coming from the state of California. Between that miscalculation... and a decrease in local revenue... it looks like Tuolumne County's general fund will be almost 900-thousand dollars short. That meeting gets underway at 9am, at the county administration building.
